Danilo Lukić is an experienced 3x3 coach and part of the system behind the development of modern Serbian 3x3 basketball. He is known for his analytical approach, tactical planning, and work with elite players and teams. He is currently a coach within the UB team, where he contributes to tactical identity, game structure, and preparation for top-level international 3x3 competitions. He is also part of the coaching staff of the Serbian national 3x3 team. Within the 3x3 Academy, Lukić serves as the lead methodologist and coach responsible for structuring programs for visiting teams worldwide. His focus is on individual development, tactical education, and implementation of professional 3x3 standards.
Career
Took over the world's #1 3×3 club. Within a year achieved the same dominance as predecessor team Novi Sad — 26 Masters titles and counting.
Head coach of the Serbian senior national team, U18 and U23 squads. Olympic bronze, multiple World Cup and European gold medals.
Helped build Novi Sad into the world's dominant 3×3 club — 21 Masters titles, 4 Finals wins, 13 Challenger victories.
Started career as an assistant coach in the Serbian basketball Division 1 league before shifting focus to 3×3.
Co-founded and leads the Serbian 3×3 Academy — the operational and coaching hub behind the world's most successful national team camps.
Conducted camps and contributed to the success of national teams from China, Qatar, Great Britain, Puerto Rico, Chile, Dominican Republic, and Madagascar.
